Vandals Hit Same Target Repeatedly

   Technicians with AT&T told law enforcement officials Monday that vandals have targeted the same telephone lines four separate times.

   Lawrenceburg Police Officers were summoned to initiate an investigation at 11:00 Monday. A technician repairing the line that services Harvey’s Gym and Factory Connection, 2004 North Locust Avenue, reported that seventy feet of the telephone line had been cut down from the south side of the building, and that approximately forty feet had been stolen off that line.

   According to the technician, all four times the line had either been shot or cut down. Damages were estimated to total $200.

   The case remains under investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
